As an advisor with Global Growth Advisors, Julius Nyang’oro helps clients understand political climates in African nations, with particular emphasis on governance, security, and social development. As part of his commitment to political science on the international level, Julius Nyang’oro is also a member of the Society for International Development.

The Society for International Development, better known as SID, exists to bring diverse people together to create a better future. SID operates as an international town hall, drawing participants from every race and creed, from every industry and academic discipline. Together, 3,000 members in 50 countries work toward humanitarian goals across borders.

Each year, SID honors one standout young person involved in international development through the Andrew E. Rice Award. It recognizes leadership, innovation, and commitment to real progress. Candidates must be between 22 and 32 years of age, have two years of experience in their field, and be able to demonstrate concrete evidence of their impact.
